Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! It was a beautiful, mild day, so Dan, Sawyer, Dezi, and I went for a nice walk today to celebrate the New Year. Sawyer got loaded up in his new backpack and enjoyed the much improved view.

more reflections of Sawyer....
The walk took us by NCAR (National Center for Atmospheric Research)- where I will be doing my postdoc starting January 15th- so we took some pics of the place. Not a bad spot to spend time.
Dezi has been happy to have Sawyer home.Sawyer is getting bolder with his 'cruising' and is beginning to try to reach between pieces of furniture and to let go while standing (lots of new bumps!)
And finally- the Radio Flyer Scoot. Dan found this great little scoot at an antique shop in New Hampshire when we were back East for the holidays. We brought it on the plane as a 'personal item' and didn't get hassled at all. Though his dismounting skills still leave a lot to be desired- with close supervision he is enjoying scooting forwards and backwards.
