Valentines and brewing

Sawyer made Valentines for all his classmates...

and we brewed a batch of beer (first batch since Sawyer was born!). Luckily we had a couple of feet of snow to help cool the wort before we transferred it from the pot to the carboy. Thank you, snow. Duvel will be ready in May.

Eelco visit

We had a very nice visit from my cousin Eelco, who took a few days out of his Utah ski trip to come visit us in Boulder. Sawyer loved having family in town and immediately put him to work reading books.

Denver Aquarium

We took a nice trip to the Denver aquarium with Sawyer's buddy Van (and mom Heather) and Jocie (and mom Sarah). Heather was wise enough to bring a wagon. It was a great day and the kids really enjoyed the creatures as well as the cool flash flood simulation at the aquarium.
