By May, the garden looked like this and we were getting beautiful micro-green salads.
Now, in mid-July, we have a really beautiful and productive garden.
I am growing beets for the first time - they are beautiful! (Yes, Mom, me and beets- who knew?)Sawyer was dismayed that the cabbage moths ate all our broccoli the week before we were going to harvest. Since then he has been a bit worried about the "bad bugs that eat the garden" so we spend a lot of time talking about all the good bugs, like spiders and lady bugs that help us out.
He is very proud of our garden. And so am I.
